Cities and their landscapes offer so much subject matter for sketching. In fact, there is a movement called ‘urban sketchers’ that provides an outlet for an artist like me. Their very active Chicago chapter schedules regular group-sketch sessions in public places.

Growing up near Chicago and my family roots in New York City gave me many opportunities to experience the wonder and hustle of the big city. I’m still constantly fascinated by the City and all it has to offer. Chicago's rich architectural history and pedigree will continue to give me opportunities to create beautiful art.
